Overview
Wobblerian is the homeworld of the Wobblerians, a terrestrial planet shrouded in a dense, vapor-heavy atmosphere. As ships descend through it, sunlight scatters into thousands of shifting facets, giving arrival on the planet a distinctly disorienting, almost dreamlike quality.

The planet's surface hosts scattered Guardians — massive, crystalline beings, largely indifferent to their surroundings unless directly threatened.

Notable Locations
Ceremonial Chamber
Deep beneath the surface lies a great cavern composed almost entirely of crystalline material, radiating a pure white light. At its center sits a basin surrounded by twelve towering crystal formations, each aligned with one of the Wobblerian families. It is here that the rebirth of new individuals is ceremonially completed, as the assembled families lend their resonant tones to guide the process.

Fungal-lit Corridors
Passages beneath the surface are lined with bioluminescent fungi that pulse in time with ambient vibration, illuminating the way for those attuned to the planet's resonance — or disorienting those who are not.

Overview
The Guardians are massive, crystalline beings found scattered across the surface of Wobblerian. Encrusted in dense, faceted plating that thickens with age, they appear at rest to be little more than outcroppings of stone or vast geological formations. They can see, hear, and are believed to possess some form of smell, but rarely react to anything in their environment. A Guardian may briefly lift its head at the approach of a visitor before settling back into stillness — sunning itself, or resting, seemingly indifferent to the world around it. Only a direct threat will provoke a response, at which point the creature's true strength and near-impenetrable defenses become apparent.

Origins
When a Wobblerianer dies and is re-merged into the primordial mother, it is believed that their Spirit is reincarnated into a Guardian. Unlike the deliberate rebirth undergone by living Wobblerianer seeking a new form, this process is neither chosen nor guided; it is simply what happens to the dead. What, if anything, of the original person's mind or memory persists within a Guardian is unknown — they do not speak, and make no obvious attempt to communicate beyond their low hum.

A Guardians long life ends only with its own natural death, at which point the crystal at its core is harvested and returned to the primordial mass, expanding its capacity to store the memories and knowledge of the Wobblerian people. This is considered a natural part of the planet's cycle — the Guardian serving, in effect, as a slow intermediary step between an individual life and the collective memory that follows it. Harvesting a Guardian's crystal before its natural death is exceedingly rare, and not something the Wobblerians readily condone.

Overview
The Wobblerians are a sentient, silicon-based species native to the planet Wobblerian. Photosynthetic by nature, they draw sustenance from UV radiation and water. As silicon-based lifeforms, they are averse to carbon-oxides and cannot sustain their health for extended periods without a filtering breather when travelling off-world.

Wobblerian society is organized into twelve families, each represented by a distinct color.

The Primordial Mass
Central to Wobblerianer existence is the primordial mass — less a hive mind than a planet-wide repository and communication network, to which individuals can connect to upload and download knowledge and memory. This connection weakens quickly with distance from Wobblerian, leaving individuals off-world effectively cut off from it.

When a Wobblerian dies, their remains are returned to the primordial mass, from which a new individual is eventually formed — a process understood by the Wobblerian as a natural continuation of existence rather than an ending. This same rebirth procedure can, under certain circumstances, also be undergone voluntarily by living individuals. Doing so requires the surrender of one's current body, mind, knowledge, and character in exchange for an entirely new one — how much, if anything, of the original persona survives the process is unknown, even to the Wobblerians themselves.

Notable Ceremony
The formation of a new individual is marked by a ceremony held in a crystalline chamber at the heart of Wobblerian society, in which members of each family contribute their tone around a central basin. The event is considered sacred, and any disruption to its harmony is taken extremely seriously.
